Bachelor in Electical Engineering
ABOUT THE COURSE
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (S1 - Electrical Engineering) is a professional field of science that studies telecommunications engineering, electronics and electrical energy. The Department of Electrical Engineering itself is under the auspices of the Jakarta Global University (JGU) Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (FTIK). In the Department of Electrical Engineering students will be provided with special skills that are at the core of modern electrical technology such as: Digital Systems, Mechatronics, Data Communications, Power Electronics, Integrated Circuit Technology, SCADA Technology etc. Which is supported by laboratory equipment that has been adapted to technological developments. There are three specializations that can be taken in the Electrical Engineering Department:
Telecommunication
The field of specialization in telecommunications will focus students on mastering the design and planning engineering of telecommunications and electronic networks, data communication, radar, antenna planning, mobile communication, traffic engineering, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment.
Electronics
The field of specialization in Electronics focuses on designing electronic and instrumentation systems, control systems and robotics, as well as computer systems, mastering the ability to implement programmable control systems in optimal, reliable, continuous and safe control systems using PLCs, SCADA, computer network systems, microcontrollers and DSP.
Electrical Energy
The field of specialization in Electric Power Systems focuses on electricity technology which includes power generation, transmission and distribution systems, electrical system design and analysis, electric machines, power electronics, energy conservation, and new and renewable energy.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Highschool graduate or equivalent
- Diploma III, Polytechnic, Academy or equivalent
- Diploma I, Diploma II, or S1 graduates from all majors or transfer from state/ private universities
