Bachelor in Industrial Engineering
ABOUT THE COURSE
Bachelor in Industrial Engineering will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience on the design, improvement and installation of integrated systems consisting of human, material, equipment and energy to specify, predict and evaluate the results obtained from an integrated system. The field of expertise in the industrial engineering is divided into two, System Manufacture (SM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
System Manufacture expertise emphasizes on the discussion about the planning and designing the manufacture of a goods production. This field is often concerned with machines, such as counting large/size of an item, the design of a machine or an item (not only the machinery/goods, but machine/items to be modified in order to use more ergonomic).
Supply Chain Management (SCM) emphasizes the development of a product. Activities associated with the field of SCM, among others, is a product development, procurement, planning and control, production operations, and shipping/distribution.
Provided with the knowledge of industrial engineering, a bachelor of industrial engineering is expected to play a role in efforts to spur increased industrial competitiveness/integral system (which includes: labor, raw materials, energy, information, technology, and infrastructure) as well as being able to interact with the business community, society, and government.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Highschool graduate or equivalent
- Diploma III, Polytechnic, Academy or equivalent
- Diploma I, Diploma II, or S1 graduates from all majors or transfer from state/ private universities
