ABOUT THE COURSE
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering in Jakarta Global University is one of the JGU programs with a continuously increased interest along with the increasing need for the manufacturing industry, both nationally and globally. Several areas of the Mechanical Engineering Programme in JGU aims to support the need for a skilled workforce in the manufacturing industry and prepare prospective Mechanical Engineering scientists, covering the fields of construction and mechanical design and energy conversion. The Mechanical Engineering in JGU puts forward research-based learning, so that it trains students to be able to directly apply the knowledge they learn both in class and through practicum in the laboratory as well as train thinking skills in solving problems related to the field of Mechanical Engineering.
As a high school/vocational high school graduate/equivalent or a diploma graduate who is pursuing undergraduate studies, at JGU you will study science related to mechanical engineering systems. Through computer-based practicum and laboratory activities at state-of-the-art facilities on our campus, you will develop skills in specialized areas related to solid and fluid mechanics, machine system control and mechatronic equipment. There are several specializations that are featured in the Mechanical Engineering Program in JGU, namely construction & mechanical design by using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and alternative energy conversion along sophisticated testing instruments. With the research based on this specialization, the outputs are then presented in the form of scientific articles that are disseminated through national & international seminars/conferences/meetings and also in reputable national & international scientific journals.

- Diploma I, Diploma II, or S1 graduates from all majors or transfer from state/ private universities
